Queens native Suzanne Parker is the author of “Eating Like Queens—A Guide to Ethnic Dining in America’s Melting Pot, Queens, NY” published in 2005 by Jones Books.  She is the restaurant critic and food reporter for the TimesLedger newspapers, a former subsidiary of the New York Post now doing business as the Community Newspaper Group.  Her articles have appeared in numerous publications including “Edible Queens” and “MetroNY.”  Ms. Parker has conducted culinary tours of Queens. She is a certified judge for Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned competitions, and has won prizes for her own cooking.  She has appeared on CBS’s “The Early Show” and on Air America Radio.
